The route leads through the Greifensee nature reserve. The half marathon course runs on approximately 60% of asphalt and 40% of natural roads.

Attention: At the feeding stations, along the direction of running, the first tables will have water, then Isostar, and finally water again. The feeding stations will be marked with special signs.
Experienced pacemakers will once again be taking part this year. The pacemakers are dressed in eye-catching clothing and are aiming for finish times of between 1h 30 and 2h 15 for the half marathon distance and between 45 and 70 minutes for the 10km. The pacemakers carry a rucksack with a flag on which the finish time is printed and are therefore always easily recognizable in the crowd. Pacemaker 2024
There are 11 first-aid posts along the routes. In addition, several doctors, anesthesia and rescue personnel as well as ambulance vehicles are on duty. A well-equipped medical center is operated in the Pünthalle/finish area.

The running time is recorded with the disposable chip. The time only starts to run when the starting line is crossed. Exceptions: The first 10 overall will be ranked after the finish and FAMIGROS RUN & WIN with gross time. Participants will be allocated to the appropriate sector on the basis of their best running time from the last three years, those starting for the first time at the Greifenseelauf will be allocated according to their stated running time.
Please wear your race number clearly visible on the front of your running kit and fill in the back of the race number for emergency situations during the race. Sponsor logos must not be covered or folded.
